Is GoMining legit? What I checked before putting money in
Short answer: I wouldn't have my own money in it if I thought it was a scam. Long answer: here's the track record, the real farms on video, and the one risk I'd want you to know.
My answer when someone asks "is this a scam?"
As a 10-plus-year crypto veteran, I would not be putting money into GoMining if I thought it was a scam. They have a track record going back to 2017. They've offered the GoMining digital miner since 2021. And they've survived multiple bear markets where other mining companies simply went out of business.
Not GoMining. They're still here today.
Why you should care what I think
Fair question. You don't know me yet. So here's what "veteran" means:
- I bought Bitcoin high and held it when it crashed below $10,000.
- I bought XRP under 30 cents.
- I was there when Shiba Inu launched, and I swapped over $1M of SHIB in a single transaction. The receipt is on my homepage.
- I was there for VeChain, XLM, Polygon's layer 2, Base, Solana, and the Lightning Network.
- I ran my own physical Bitcoin mining facility. More on how that ended below.
I've lived through multiple full cycles and I'm still standing. I've seen what scams look like. In my opinion, this isn't one.
Don't take my word for it: the farms are real
The biggest worry with any mining platform is "is there actually any mining?" So here's proof from someone who isn't me and isn't GoMining. VoskCoin, one of the best-known crypto mining YouTubers, has walked through several GoMining facilities on camera, in Texas and South Carolina.
Videos by VoskCoin, an independent crypto YouTuber. Facility figures mentioned in them come from GoMining.
In coverage of the Texas visit, GoMining described it as a 25-megawatt facility with evaporative cooling, and the company says it runs more than 95,000 miners worldwide (Cryptowisser). Those figures come from GoMining. What the videos show independently is that the farms exist and the machines are running.
GoMining is not cloud mining
Most people who call GoMining a scam are lumping it in with cloud mining and calling it a day. If they did the research, they'd see it's a different thing:
- Cloud mining sells you a contract, usually 12 months. You earn for that period, and the money you put in is locked. When the contract ends, it's over.
- GoMining sells you a digital miner with no end date. You earn from it for as long as you own it. You can upgrade its power and efficiency. And you can sell it on the marketplace to get some of your money back out.
That exit is the big one. Scams don't build a way for you to leave.

Lock in my RINGO5 bonus →The honest risk
I'm not going to pretend there's zero risk. The one thing that can really go wrong with GoMining is GoMining ceasing to exist. For that to happen, Bitcoin would have to go down really, really far, for a long time.
I know what that looks like from the inside. When I mined on my own machines, we started with Bitcoin around $70,000 and watched it drop below $20,000. It became so unprofitable that we had to stop and ship our miners to a partner facility in Toluca, Mexico, for cheaper power.
Then that facility caught fire. All my machines were destroyed, and a technician working there was badly burned and lost his life. I'll never forget it.
That's how I found GoMining: I wanted to stay in Bitcoin mining without owning machines that can break, burn, or hurt someone.
So yes, the risk is a catastrophic Bitcoin collapse bad enough to take GoMining down with it, or GoMining going out of business for some other reason. We can only look at their track record. We can't see the future. I trust the track record and where they're going, and that's why I'm an investor today.
What "legit" looks like from my account

FAQ
Is GoMining a scam?
In my view, no. The company has been around since 2017, has offered its digital miners since 2021, and has survived bear markets that put other mining companies out of business. Independent YouTuber VoskCoin has toured several of its real facilities on camera.
Is GoMining the same as cloud mining?
No. Cloud mining usually sells fixed contracts, often 12 months, and your money is locked in. On GoMining your miner has no end date, you can upgrade it, and you can sell it on the marketplace to recover some of what you put in.
Are GoMining's mining farms real?
Yes. VoskCoin, an independent crypto YouTuber, has filmed tours of GoMining facilities in Texas and South Carolina. The videos are on this page.
What's the biggest risk with GoMining?
That the company stops operating, for example after a catastrophic, sustained Bitcoin crash. We can judge the track record, but nobody can see the future.
