Is GoMining profitable in 2026? Real numbers at today's price
Bitcoin is well below its highs right now, and my account is still netting about $128 a day after fees. Here's how, including the slow stretch and what got me through it.
The short answer
Yes, on my account it's profitable, at today's Bitcoin price, not just in a bull market. In October 2026, my farm of about 6,834 TH showed $265.69 in gross rewards for one day. After the daily electricity fee, I kept about $128. That's real, after-cost money, every day. The screenshots are in my review.
And it's paying while Bitcoin sits well below its 2025 all-time high, which was above $120,000. If it's profitable now, think about what happens when the price climbs.
Why now: the halving cycle
Every four years or so, Bitcoin "halves," and the reward for mining new blocks gets cut in half. The last halving was in April 2024. Historically, some of Bitcoin's biggest runs came in the months and years after a halving.
We're at a point in the halving cycle where mining now means stacking Bitcoin before a potential run.
That's my view based on past cycles, not a guarantee. But here's what I like about mining in this window: you're stacking Bitcoin every single day at today's price instead of buying one lump at the top. If Bitcoin climbs, everything you mined now is worth more.
Gross vs net: the fee is real
Every GoMining miner pays a daily electricity and maintenance fee out of its rewards. On my account, on the day I checked, that fee took roughly half of the gross. Anyone telling you about GoMining profits without mentioning the fee isn't being straight with you.
The good news: you can shrink that fee.
The slow stretch, and how I stayed profitable
I'm not going to pretend it's always smooth. About six months ago, when Bitcoin's price was low, rewards were practically nothing. Plenty of people were underwater.
I stayed profitable where others weren't, for two reasons:
- I lock GoMining tokens for the maximum discount. Locking tokens lowers your daily maintenance fee. My discount is 28.22%, so my fees are much lower than someone who doesn't lock.
- Locked tokens earn their own staking rewards. Those rewards kept coming every week even when mining rewards were thin. So far they've paid me about $4,047 in total, on top of the mining.
Two income streams instead of one. When one gets thin, the other carries you.

Forget the mining for a second. The staking APR on locked GoMining tokens is 21.7% right now (updated Oct 7, 2026). It moves up and down, but here's how it compares:
Where else would your money go?
You know what your other money does. Here's what this does.
Staking APR is live from my GMT Optimizer feed, updated Oct 7, 2026. It moves; it's ranged roughly 22–25% over the past few months. Rates change. Not financial advice.
And remember: that APR is just the staking side. Your terahash is mining Bitcoin every day on top of it.
Why not just mine at home?
I tried. I built a real facility in Rochester, Michigan. When Bitcoin fell, the power bill ate the profit. At average US electricity rates, a lot of home miners end up paying more for power than their machines earn. Then add the hardware cost, the noise, the heat, and the risk. My machines ended up in a fire in Mexico.
On GoMining, there's no hardware to buy, no power bill in your name, and nothing in your house that can burn down.

Run your own numbers
Don't take my word for it. Type in what you'd put in, set the Bitcoin price you want to test, and the Optimizer splits it between terahash and GoMining tokens for the maximum discount, then projects your returns at today's rates.
Projections, not promises. Bitcoin's price, network difficulty, and rewards change every day. Not financial advice.
How to make it as profitable as possible
- Split your money between terahash and locked tokens. Tokens get you the discount and staking rewards; terahash mines the Bitcoin. My GMT Optimizer works out the split for your budget.
- Upgrade efficiency. Lower watts per terahash means lower fees. I run at 15.41 W/TH.
- Reinvest. Rewards that go back into terahash compound.
- Think in years, not days. The slow stretches pass. The people who quit in them miss the run.
All figures are from my account as of October 2026 and change with Bitcoin's price, network difficulty, and GoMining's rates. Not financial advice.
You don't need to be rich
$25 to $50 a week. That's not even hustling.
And that's just the money you set aside. On GoMining it's mining Bitcoin and earning staking rewards the whole time, and those rewards can go right back in. If you're serious about building something, you can find $25 a week. Once you see the numbers, you'll probably want to do more.

FAQ
Is GoMining still profitable in 2026?
On my account, yes. In October 2026, with Bitcoin well below its all-time high, I netted about $128 a day after electricity fees on roughly 6,834 TH. Your result depends on your setup and Bitcoin's price.
What happens to GoMining profits when Bitcoin drops?
Rewards shrink. About six months before this was written, my rewards got very thin. Locking tokens for a 28.22% maintenance discount and earning staking rewards kept me profitable.
What is the GoMining staking APR?
It changes. This page shows the live rate from my GMT Optimizer feed; it's been roughly 22–25% over the past few months.
Is it too late to start GoMining?
In my view, no. We're at a point in the halving cycle where mining now means stacking Bitcoin before a potential run. Based on past cycles, not a guarantee.
